How Fertilio is funded
Fertilio is free. To keep it that way, we earn money in a few places. Here is where, and under what rules.
Editorial content
The guides are written by the Fertilio Editorial Team. We back up medical statements with guidelines, professional societies, public authorities, and studies, and the sources are listed at the end of each article. No manufacturer or clinic can buy or co-write guide texts. Our content does not replace medical advice.
Affiliate links and ads
In guides about ovulation tests, fertility trackers, and dietary supplements, links to stores or manufacturers may be affiliate links: if you buy through them, Fertilio receives a commission. The price does not change for you.
- Every affiliate link appears in a box labeled “Advertisement” and is technically marked as sponsored (
rel="sponsored"). - We decide in advance whether a product appears in an article and how we assess it, using disclosed criteria such as measurement principle, cost per cycle, available study evidence, or nutrient content according to the manufacturer. Whether an affiliate program exists for the product plays no role in that decision.
- We have not tested the products ourselves and therefore do not name any test winners.
- We do not use affiliate links for medications.
- There are no affiliate links on clinic profiles, cost pages, the Cost Calculator, or the Fertility Clinic Finder.
Data and as-of dates
We take prices, ingredients, and technical specifications from manufacturers’ websites and state the as-of date. Manufacturers change formulations and prices, so the current information on the packaging or in the store is always the one that applies.
