Dr. med. Bleichenbacher Markus

Dr. med. Markus Bleichenbacher runs a practice specialized in reproductive medicine in Cham, in which all treatments are carried out personally by him. The location at Dorfplatz 1 in the Lorze Medical Center opened in December 2019. GEA IVF AG, whose medical director is Bleichenbacher, opened there at the same time. The collaboration with this lab forms the basis for on-site IVF treatments in Cham. Bleichenbacher brings many years of experience in reproductive medicine: he headed the IVF center in Lucerne for several years before founding his own practice. He holds the FMH subspecialty title in gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine as well as the subspecialty title in surgical gynecology and obstetrics, supplemented by an MSc in Clinical Embryology. At the Cham location, he concentrates exclusively on fertility treatments, that is, the complete infertility evaluation and the entire spectrum of assisted reproduction including IVF. Important for patients from Central Switzerland: egg donation is prohibited by law in Switzerland. Bleichenbacher advises couples who are considering this path abroad on choosing a clinic and accompanies them during treatment preparations. Surgical procedures as part of the infertility evaluation, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, are performed by him at the Andreasklinik Cham. The practice location in Bern (Spitalgasse 36) covers the full gynecological spectrum.
