About this clinic
Salome Sonderegger runs her practice SALOMEA in Basel as a sole practitioner with a clear focus: supporting women and couples during the sensitive phases surrounding fertility, pregnancy, and the time after birth. Her offering is aimed especially at people who have had distressing experiences, for example after miscarriages, in the case of infertility, or after difficult births. The foundation of her work is more than 20 years of experience as a registered nurse with a diploma. This medical foundation is complemented by training in yoga, TCM, hypnosis, and EMDR as well as a master’s degree in psychosocial counseling completed in 2025. Her MAS thesis dealt specifically with stress factors in infertility and coping strategies based on a resource-oriented approach and hypnosis. In practical terms, the offering includes psychosocial counseling, also as a way to bridge the waiting time during ongoing fertility treatment, holistic trauma therapy, prenatal yoga, hypnobirthing courses, birth preparation for induced labor, offerings for breech presentation, and acupressure based on TCM. In addition, there are women’s massage and baby massage in the postpartum period. Appointments are possible on site in Basel as well as online. The services are recognized by health insurance funds. Publications in the magazines annabelle and BaslerIN as well as her academic thesis show that Salome Sonderegger also engages with her field in depth professionally and communicates it publicly.
