About this clinic
Olivia Uhlig runs her Heilpraktikerin (licensed alternative health practitioner) practice for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) on Großbeerenstraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg, with a clear focus on gynecology and fertility treatment. Her background is unusual: after years as a self-employed musician, she found her way to Chinese medicine, completed thorough Heilpraktiker training at the Paracelsus Schule Berlin starting in 2014, and has continuously deepened her expertise in TCM gynecology and reproductive medicine ever since. Since 2019, Uhlig has been a certified member of ABORM (American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine), an internationally recognized board for acupuncture and TCM in reproductive medicine. She is also a member of AGTCM. Her continuing education includes, among other things, TCM phytotherapy with Dr. Franziskus Sulistyo Winarto (specialist in gynecology), several seminars on gynecologic herbal formulas, and Western reproductive endocrinology. In January 2025, she took on a teaching role on premature ovarian insufficiency at ABZ Mitte Nord in Frankfurt. In her practice, she supports women and men who are trying to conceive, both naturally and as a complement to reproductive medicine procedures such as IVF and ICSI. She coordinates TCM support during fertility treatment closely with the procedures of the clinic involved. In the initial consultation, she reviews cycle data, hormone and blood test results, and, if needed, a semen analysis together with the patient or the couple. In addition to acupuncture, she uses Chinese herbal formulas in a targeted way. Counseling on dietary supplements and lifestyle rounds out what the practice offers. The practice also treats endometriosis, PCOS, menstrual pain, and menopause symptoms. Online appointment booking is available.
