About this clinic

In the middle of downtown Hagen, on Bahnhofstraße, is the Freya IVF Kinderwunschzentrum. The center combines reproductive medicine diagnostics with a comparatively broad range of additional measures and explicitly serves heterosexual couples, same-sex couples, and single women. The diagnostic foundation consists of semen analysis including sperm DNA fragmentation testing, ultrasound to check the fallopian tubes, and hormonal blood tests to assess ovarian reserve. An individual treatment plan is drawn up on this basis. The range of treatments includes cycle monitoring, intrauterine insemination (IUI), IVF Naturelle, conventional IVF, and ICSI. The offering is complemented by cryopreservation, thaw cycles, elective egg freezing, and TESE for men with severely reduced sperm production. Particularly noteworthy is the range of additional measures: in addition to blastocyst culture and assisted hatching, Freya IVF offers procedures such as PICSI, sperm activation, egg activation, EmbryoGlue®, as well as Intralipid infusions and autologous blood therapy (PRP). The latter are used primarily for patients in whom repeated implantation failure or recurrent miscarriages are the main concern. Endometriosis as a cause of infertility is also addressed at the center. The center is headed by Prof. (IR) Dr. rer. nat. Reza Soleimani. According to patient feedback, immunological evaluation in particular has been a sought-after focus since Dr. Schwan began working there. Satellite counseling offices are available for couples and individuals outside Hagen. Appointments can be made by phone or by email.
