On Marienplatz in Ravensburg, the Bestfertility team treats couples, individuals, and same-sex couples facing infertility. The clinic is the second location of the Bestfertility group, which originated in Ulm, and explicitly also serves patients from the Lake Constance district, Weingarten, and Friedrichshafen. The medical director is Dr. med. Friedrich Gagsteiger, who is counted among the early pioneers of reproductive medicine in Germany. The Ravensburg practice has been run by Julia Koglin since 2012, who is responsible for the on-site consultation hours. The range of treatments includes insemination (IUI), IVF, and ICSI, as well as TESE for male factor infertility. For women, services include tubal patency testing, endometrial scratching, microbiome analysis, KIR gene typing for immune diagnostics, as well as PRP therapy and Intralipid infusions. A dedicated miscarriage consultation for the workup of miscarriages rounds out the diagnostic offering. Elective egg freezing to preserve eggs for the future is also performed. Partnerships with sperm banks make treatment possible for single women and lesbian couples.
