Kinderwunschzentrum Döbling

The Döbling Fertility Center is located on the fifth floor of Heiligenstädter Straße 55-65 in Vienna’s 19th district, embedded in the Ambulatorium Döbling network. The center treats the full range of infertility: from hormonal disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and endometriosis to male fertility problems, for which a dedicated urologist and andrologist is responsible. The center is led by Prof. Dr. Stefan Jirecek, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, who works together with four other specialist physicians. The medical team is complemented by a permanently affiliated psychotherapist who supports patients through all phases of treatment. The services include IUI, conventional IVF, ICSI, natural cycle IVF, cryopreservation, and TESE for men with limited sperm production. Assisted hatching and additional genetic testing are also part of the offering. For couples who first want to get oriented, the clinic offers a free 15-minute initial consultation and regular information events, alternating between webinars and in-person sessions with a maximum of three couples per session. Prof. Jirecek conducts these events himself. Sperm donation and the treatment of lesbian couples are also documented offerings. The center is part of the Mavie Med company group and cooperates institutionally with the Döbling private hospital and its maternity department, which allows short distances for surgical procedures or more complicated treatment courses.
