At Stadtfeldstraße 50 in Deggendorf, Dr. med. Hans-Joachim Kroiss runs the only fertility clinic in Lower Bavaria that combines reproductive medicine treatments and gynecological care at a single location. According to its own information, it is the only facility in the region that offers the full range of modern fertility therapies on site. The treatments offered include IVF and ICSI, insemination treatments, cryopreservation of eggs and sperm, and assisted hatching before embryo transfer. Surgical procedures for people trying to conceive, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, are performed as well. TESE procedures for sperm retrieval are carried out in cooperation with a urologist. For diagnostics, the practice has its own hormone, IVF, and cytology lab, which is intended to allow short waits for results. Dedicated procedure rooms and patient rooms are available for treatments. Dr. Kroiss was awarded the Focus recommendation for 2023 and 2024. The practice is open on several weekdays, until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, and offers appointments by arrangement on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to fertility medicine, its range of services includes general gynecology, pregnancy care, mammography, and care for teenagers.
