About this clinic
For three decades, the Team Kinderwunsch Oldenburg fertility clinic has been treating couples and individuals facing infertility, and this wealth of experience still shapes the practice’s way of working today. The center is based as an MVZ (medical care center, Medizinisches Versorgungszentrum) at Leo-Trepp-Straße 5 in Oldenburg and is medically led by Anja Scheffer. Every treatment begins with a detailed initial consultation. Only then does individual diagnostic testing follow: cycle monitoring and tubal patency testing in the woman, semen analysis and blood testing in the man. Based on these findings, the treatment approach is determined, whether IUI, IVF, or ICSI. If coverage by a German health insurance fund is possible, the team actively helps with the application. In addition to classic fertility treatments, the center offers elective egg freezing, that is, the freezing of unfertilized eggs or sperm cells for non-medical reasons. The practice is also a member of the FertiPROTEKT network, which coordinates fertility-preserving measures before oncological therapies or therapies that damage germ cells. The center is recorded in the German IVF Registry (Deutsches IVF-Register, DIR), is a member of the Federal Association of Reproductive Medicine Centers of Germany (Bundesverband Reproduktionsmedizinischer Zentren Deutschlands, BRZ), and is listed in the German Insemination Registry (Deutsches Register für Insemination, DERI). Regular information evenings, for which you can register through a contact form, give interested people a first look at treatment procedures and options. With a Google rating of 5.0 from 48 reviews, patient feedback reflects a consistently positive experience.
