Wunschkinder Münster

Wunschkinder Münster is an independent fertility practice in the heart of Münster, led by Dr. Anke Cordes and Dr. Sonja Wüllner. The two doctors have brought their experience from various fertility centers and IVF labs into a practice that deliberately emphasizes continuity: Wherever possible, a dedicated contact person accompanies patients from the initial consultation to the end of treatment. This reduces friction and makes it possible to implement a jointly developed treatment concept consistently. The range of services includes IVF, ICSI, and cryopreservation. The practice’s own IVF lab operates to the European cleanroom standard, with positive-pressure air that is filtered multiple times, a feature that, by its own account, the practice was the first fertility practice in Münster to introduce. This is complemented by the electronic sample identification system RI-Witness from Cooper Surgical, which automatically documents every lab step using a radio-frequency tag and objectively rules out mix-ups. Embryo development is monitored around the clock by video using time-lapse technology, without the cells having to be removed from the incubator. The practice team also includes a midwife with experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a systemic therapist who offers psychological support within the practice itself. Acupuncture is also available. Initial consultations for new patients are scheduled within a few weeks; a referral is possible but not required. The initial consultation is billed through statutory and private health insurance funds in Germany. The practice premises cover 750 square meters (8,100 sq ft) in a converted industrial hall in the Münstermann Höfe, with 4.50-meter (14.8 ft) ceilings, ground-level access, and a waiting area reminiscent of a café. The location directly on Hammerstraße offers good accessibility from the Münsterland, East Westphalia, and the Ruhr region, and parking is available in the courtyard.
