About this clinic
Since its founding, FertiliaMed has established itself as a specialized fertility clinic in the Graz district of St. Peter. According to its own statements, the institute is the only fertility clinic in Graz that is led by women. Behind this feature is a concrete founding team: Dr. Carmen Schöll, embryologist Tamara Haslinger, Dr. Rüdiger Hochstätter, and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schöll built FertiliaMed together and, according to the clinic, bring more than 50 years of combined clinical experience in reproductive medicine. The diagnostic offering includes semen analysis, hormone and blood tests, HyCoSy (testing of tubal patency by ultrasound), 3D sonography, and a dedicated endometriosis evaluation. On the treatment side, FertiliaMed performs IVF, ICSI, and natural cycle IVF, as well as insemination, egg donation and sperm donation, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A), egg and sperm freezing, as well as testicular biopsy (TESE/TESA). One particular focus is endometriosis treatment and reproductive surgery, that is, surgical procedures to improve fertility. The center is located in the modern St.-Peter-Zentrum at St.-Peter-Gürtel 12a, with direct access to public transportation and free parking. For couples eligible for the Austrian IVF Fund (IVF-Fonds), the team actively provides information about the Austrian funding, which covers part of the treatment costs. On Google, patients rate FertiliaMed 4.7 out of 5 stars. Several reviews highlight that even during a longer course of treatment, a team member was always available for follow-up questions. The practice is open Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment.
