About this clinic
The LMU Hormone and Fertility Center (LMU Hormon- und Kinderwunschzentrum) is part of the hospital of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and is therefore embedded in one of the largest women’s hospitals in Europe. Prof. Dr. med. Nina Rogenhofer serves as interim head. Because of the direct connection to the university hospital, there is access to specialists from nearly all medical disciplines, which is especially relevant for complex diagnoses. The range of services covers infertility from both a gynecological and an andrological perspective, the diagnosis and treatment of hormone disorders, the workup of recurrent miscarriage, and fertility preservation, both for medical reasons and as part of so-called elective egg freezing. For the andrological side, Prof. Dr. med. Frank-Michael Köhn has recently been available as a specialist physician in the andrology consultation hours. Appointments can be made by phone at +49 89 4400-34670. The center can be reached at two locations: at Klinikum Großhadern at Marchioninistraße 15 and at Klinikum Innenstadt at Ziemssenstraße 5. The address Maistraße 11 listed in the input data differs from the locations named on the official clinic website. Interested patients should ask the center directly for current contact details before visiting. The center is currently taking part in a research project on the influence of the microbiome and metabolome on fertility. In this way, the center combines clinical care with university research, which underscores its character as an academic center.

Reviews from Google
What patients report: Patients praise the medical expertise and care. There is criticism regarding the information given before procedures: after an incomplete laparoscopy at another clinic, one patient had to undergo surgery again because a necessary examination of the uterus (hysteroscopy) had not been performed.
